Winter Camping Field Trip — Farmington Canyon

Last week, some of our team had a chance to get out of the office for a little fun in the snow – while doing a little work too, of course! Matt, Gabe and Brian headed out to Farmington Canyon, between Ogden and Salt Lake City for a little winter camping, gear testing and product photo shoots. With temps in the single digits and 15 mph winds, the guys dug into the side of a mountain for a protected campsite. On Saturday they had a chance to test Klymit’s new Marathon vest and Ulaar jacket, as well as the ParegoriaStretch and Olympus shells while snowshoeing. The team slept on Inertia X-Frames and Inertia XL’s, which they said kept them warm and comfortable all night.

Matt tested a hybrid prototype camping pad, which he said was more than comfortable and pared with his winter sleeping bag, kept him warm during the cold nights.

Check out some of the pictures below.
