Klymit adds QR Codes to Product Packaging

As if Klymit wasn’t techy enough… we’ve decided to add QR codes to our products’ hang tags. These codes will enable customers to learn all about Klymit and NobleTek technology with the scan of a cell phone.  QR Codes are two dimensional barcodes that are readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and camera phones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern.

Klymit’s QR Codes will take customers to a mobile streaming video about the particular products.

Look for the QR Codes on products coming soon, and in the meantime, check them out here.

Klymit Shells are a perfect fit for snowmobilers

One of the best things about working at Klymit is the opportunities we get to meet all sorts of new people. This fall we’ve been traveling with our friends at MotorFist to a number snowmobile shows around the country showing off the MotorFist Survivavest with NobleTek technology. The folks at snowmobiling magazine SnoWest have even featured Klymit’s Paregoria Stretch Shell in its December issue. Take a look below:

We’re taking Argon international

While Klymit is only a few years old, we’ve come a long way in a short time. And we’re happy to announce that soon folks from around the world will be able to purchase Klymit Kinetic Vests, Shells and Inertia X-Frames at their local stores. In 2011, partnerships with distributors  in Switzerland, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, South Korea, Hong Kong and Brazil will bring Klymit’s full line of products into specialty retail shops worldwide.

Our pals in Brazil are psyched and have chosen to feature both the Klymit Kinetic Red Rock Vest and Inertia X-Frame in their Go Outside Magazine Fall Gear Guide. Check it out!

Popular Science Mag Loves Klymit

After winning a Best of What’s New Award from Popular Science last year for our Klymit Kinetic Vest, it was great to see the magazine take an interest in our newest innovation: The Inertia X-Frame. Popular Science included the Inertia X-Frame in its “The Goods” feature in the  October 2010 issue.

“At nine ounces, Klymit’s six-foot camping pad weighs 70 percent less than its competitors. The mat, which rolls up to the size of a soda can and inflates in about three breaths, focuses support in keys areas, such as the lower back and hips, and is hollow in others.”
